3. September 4th: Stella Heath & The Billie Holiday Project 7:30 pm – 9 pm l Clark Center for the Performing Arts, Arroyo Grande
Vocalist Stella Heath leads the project. A professional jazz singer known for her interpretive depth and stylistic range, Heath has built a career performing classic American repertoire while developing original projects that center narrative, history and character.
Heath’s approach to Billie Holiday’s music is rooted in respect for the source material while allowing space for her own voice, perspective and lived experience to inform the performance.
4.September 18th – 20th: Epic Fest The Ava Hotel, Paso Robles

6. September 19th: Libations at the Lighthouse l Piedras Blancas Light Station, San Simeon

The annual fundraiser for the Piedras Blancas Light Station is a casual afternoon surrounded by history and natural beauty. Guests can enjoy tastes of Harmony Cellars and Moonstone Cellars wine while wandering the grounds of beautiful Piedras Blancas.
This year, appetizers, charcuterie, and sweet treats will be provided by LouLou Cheese Girl. Music will be provided by Bay Love in front of the gift shop, where guests can find the silent auction.
7. September: Cal Poly Arts at the Performing Arts Center San Luis Obispo
Cal Poly Arts brings a season of world-class touring performances to the Performing Arts Center this September — hopping from jazz to global rhythms to contemporary dance inside a hall built by and for the Central Coast community. It's an especially big month too: September 26 marks the PAC's 30th anniversary, a red-carpet celebration of three decades of bringing world-class artists to San Luis Obispo.

8. September 25th & 26th: 6th Annual Beach BreakaWave Rodeo l Cal Poly Rodeo l Avila Beach
Presented by Cal Poly Rodeo this one-of-a-kind rodeo on the beach with live music, bull riding, barrel racing after parties to follow. This year we’ll be at one location for all the action.
More than just a show, Beach BreakaWave is a fundraiser that supports college rodeo student-athletes, helping pave the way for their success in and out of the arena.
