1. Travel + Leisure Names Cambria Among the Best Christmas Markets in the U.S.

Multi-generational family posing before colorful holiday lights at night, smiling with children and a dog.

This season, trade the holiday rush for twinkling pines and ocean air. The Cambria Christmas Market returns to Cambria Pines Lodge from November 27 through December 31, transforming 25 acres of gardens and Monterey pine forest into a European-style winter wonderland. Stroll a glowing path lit by more than 3 million lights, browse artisan vendors for one-of-a-kind gifts, warm up by the fire pits with a cup of something festive, hop aboard the market train, and say hello to Santa.

Want the best seat in the house? Stay with them! Cambria Pines Lodge sits right next to the market, so you can walk from your room straight into the lights. The Christmas Market overnight package includes your accommodations, market entry for everyone on the reservation, parking, and breakfast. Prefer a quieter evening? On select Lights Only Nights, Lodge guests can wander the displays without the crowds.

Tickets and rooms sell out fast, so book early and make this the year your family starts a new holiday tradition.

Finally, we have some very merry news to share: the Cambria Christmas Market in California has been named among the 10 best Christmas markets in the U.S. for 2026 by Travel + Leisure.
